It is a new AI video model from the Chinese content platform Kuaishou. You might be wondering why there are so many AI models in the world, why are we talking about this one in particular? Well, it is making waves on social media with its impressive video-generation capabilities.

What can Kling do?

In a gist, Kling can generate up to two minutes of high-definition video at 30fps. It shows a remarkable understanding of real-world physics and improves the realism of character and object movements within the produced videos. I hope now you understand why I was saying that this AI tool will give direct competition to OpenAI’s Sora.

Made by Kling user Lightning Kiki, this video shows the series of shots that were used to build up an “animal boxing” tournament. It is a part of Kling’s “real world Zootopia” strand.

Dragon boat festival

This was released to mark the start of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival. The video was made by user Aichi Island.

Kling is not available for public use currently and is only available as a private beta. It is pretty impressive and the team says that they will roll it out globally soon.
