AI Made Friendly HERE

“AI for Marketing” demystifies AI and keeps you one step ahead

AI is no longer coming, it’s here. It’s being used to develop new drugs and treatments; to detect financial fraud; and to optimise renewable energy sources. It’s being used to create meal plans for families, to decide where to go on holiday this year and to help organise messy desktops.

You’ve probably already had more than one dinner party conversation about the perils of artificial intelligence, but despite their flaws, AI tools are making daily life easier and dare I say it, quite fun.

The problem is that the AI universe is mammoth, and the whole “AI” thing can feel quite inaccessible and daunting. The secret that Maryrose Lyons lets you in on over the duration of this course is that… it’s not.

The course runs over four weeks and is aimed at marketers, however most B2C roles will find value and glean information relevant to them. As an Editor I certainly did. Since taking the “AI for Marketing” course, my working life has been more productive and more efficient, and I have found more time for creativity and fun.

This course offers an engaging and practical exploration of the use of AI. It’s designed to equip marketers with the knowledge and skills necessary to harness AI tools effectively, focusing on real-world applications and hands-on experience.

Practical application and real-world relevance

One of the standout aspects of this course is its practicality. From the very beginning, we hit the ground running with exercises and examples that demonstrate how AI can be used to enhance various marketing strategies. The course covers everything from content creation to customer engagement, providing actionable insights that you can apply immediately to your work.

Over the four weeks, the learning is hands-on, ensuring that you understand the theoretical aspects of AI and importantly – how to apply them in practice. You will work with various large language models (LLMs), learning which suits you best, how to create effective prompts and how to customise responses to suit your needs. Maryrose Lyons practical approach helps solidify your understanding over the four weeks and gives you the confidence to use the tools independently at home.

Impact on your day

Throughout the course, you’re introduced to a variety of useful AI tools that can enhance your productivity and creativity. These tools range from content generation and editing to social media management and video creation. Since taking the course I have successfully incorporated an AI notetaker into my meetings to save time and ensure nothing is missed; I am using Chat GPT for idea generation and a brilliant programme called Gamma to create slideshows when I need them.

The course encourages you to think creatively about how AI can solve common marketing challenges, such as content creation, customer interaction, and data analysis. This creative thinking, combined with the practical skills gained, allows you to enhance your marketing campaigns and ultimately, to achieve better results.

A key takeaway from the course is the importance of personalisation and customisation in using AI. Maryrose Lyons guides you through the process of tailoring AI tools to fit your specific needs, whether it’s adjusting the tone of responses or integrating diverse perspectives. This ensures that the AI you use aligns with your brand’s voice and values in a more natural way.

The “AI for Marketing” course by Maryrose Lyons is a comprehensive and practical guide to integrating AI into your marketing strategy. By focusing on real-world applications and hands-on learning, Maryrose Lyons ensures you feel confident and capable in using AI tools on completion. This course is a truly valuable resource for any marketer looking to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven marketing.
