This class of powerful Chromebook laptops now comes with new built-in Google AI features, including Help Me Write and Magic Editor, Gemini integration, and more. Chromebook Plus: Google AI features
“Help me write” leverages Google AI to assist with writing tasks on Chromebook, whether it’s a website review, PDF form, or web app. Users can right-click for suggestions or tone adjustments, generate text from prompts, or rewrite existing text to be more formal, concise, or rephrased.
Generative AI wallpaper and video call backgrounds on Chromebook Plus allow users to create custom visuals for any video conferencing app. Users can choose from various prompts, ranging from whimsical to professional, and Google AI will generate the backgrounds.
Magic Editor on Google Photos, exclusive to Chromebook Plus, allows users to edit photos easily. By tapping the “Magic Editor” button, users can reposition or resize objects and use contextual suggestions to enhance lighting and backgrounds, reimagining photos with a few clicks.
Gemini on Chromebook Plus
Gemini on Chromebook Plus is available out of the box for brainstorming and planning. Users can tap the Gemini icon on the app shelf to start using it. New Chromebook Plus users get 12 months of the Google One AI Premium plan for free, which includes Gemini Advanced, 2TB of storage, and access to Gemini in various Google apps.
