No matter how advanced the technology becomes, it can’t step in when things go wrong (which is inevitable in this field). “Is AI going to put the decor on the tables? Is AI capable of taking action when a keynote speaker is running late or getting stuck in traffic? Can AI run an event smoothly in real-time?” Kimmylea asks.

AI can provide suggestions. However, it can’t physically solve problems as they happen. It won’t negotiate with a vendor when a delivery is delayed, adjust a seating chart last minute to accommodate a surprise guest, or coordinate with a venue to address unexpected weather changes. These are all challenges that need human expertise, quick decision-making, and years of industry experience to navigate.
