Vesper Technologies (Vespertec), the data centre infrastructure specialist, has entered into a strategic partnership with Netris, the developer of network infrastructure automation, to tackle customers’ networking infrastructure challenges.
This collaboration integrates Vespertec’s hardware knowhow with Netris’s automation technology, offering an enhanced suite of solutions to Vespertec’s extensive end-user base.
AI and other data-intensive workloads are imposing increasingly growing requirements on network infrastructure, including exponentially higher capacities, massive scale, and new operational complexities. Businesses today grapple with a multitude of network engineering challenges and a lack of cloud-like automation for their local hardware clusters. Efficient management of networks in the era of AI requires modern network automation software. Traditional network engineering tools and techniques are no longer sufficient.
This partnership addresses these issues head-on by integrating Vespertec’s robust hardware capabilities with Netris’s innovative network automation and cloud-like abstraction software. This synergy will help automate routine network tasks, strengthen security protocols, and provide scalable and validated solutions, enabling organisations to launch and operate efficient GPU clusters for AI and enterprise private clouds.
Following this announcement, Vespertec’s customers will gain access to a suite of advanced functionalities. These include multi-tenant and dynamic network automation and abstraction for NVIDIA’s Spectrum-X-based GPU cluster network, which streamlines the operation of GPU clusters for AI training. Multi-tenancy allows organisations to share GPUs internally or rent them out as a service (GPU cloud). With cloud-like network operation, users may also launch VPC-like networks anywhere to host AI inference and other applications. Finally, enterprise private cloud networking enables customers to operate a private cloud on their own hardware and on their own terms. These features will enable customers to operate networks with the scale and agility required for a business to succeed in the era of AI and exponentially growing data.
Netris has a proven track record of delivering automated networking solutions for large enterprises, automotive manufacturers, various SaaS providers, and public cloud providers. One notable example is working with Fuga Cloud to deliver a sovereign cloud solution for the EU based on NVIDIA hardware and Netris software. Fuga Cloud’s engineering team reports 5x improvement in engineering efficiency and 12x faster time to market, attributed to using Netris’ software.
