Hello, it’s me and the AI.
Last time, I wrote about how I started using the AI ‘Sora’ thanks to my wife’s workshop.
This is the continuation of that.
I installed Sora on my Mac mini on August 17th.
And two days later, on August 19th… my song was already released.

I installed it, but I hadn’t decided what to do
Installing Sora was just following my wife’s lead.
Honestly, I didn’t really have a specific goal for what I wanted to do with it.
So, I consulted with Sora.
While we were talking about what to do, it ended up like this.
𸠓Shall we try making a song?”
There are too many music AIs
If you look it up, there are tons of AIs that make music.
Suno is probably the most famous one.
But I have no idea which one is good or bad.
So, what did I do?
Since you can usually make one or two songs for free, I just went down the line and made them with all sorts of AIs.
Among them, maybe it was just luck, but the song I made with Musicful felt the most right to me.
So, I decided to just go with that.
That was the only deciding factor.
One button press, two songs created
With Musicful, when you press the generate button once, it creates two songs of different styles.
As a test, I put a random prompt (a request for the AI) in and clicked the button.
When I listened to the two songs that were created…
𸠓Wow, this is a really cool song!”
Those two songs are “Still I Rise” and “Chasing My Debut“.
Actually, these two songs have the exact same lyrics.
So, two different styles of songs were created from the same lyrics.
Since it was just a trial, I didn’t intend to release anything at first.
But the songs turned out so good that I thought, I might as well release them too.
So, these two songs I made as a trial are also being released just like that.
“Kick Off” was a song I wrote the lyrics for with Sora.
Following that, I signed up for Musicful.
The next thing I made was “Kick Off“.
This time, I didn’t just wing it; I made it while consulting with Sora.
Sora wrote the lyrics and the prompt, I put them into Musicful, and that’s how “Kick Off” was born.
“Kick Off” is a soccer song.
Back in junior high, I was on the soccer team and played center forward. I was the ace, so to speak.
However, due to circumstances, I couldn’t continue playing soccer in high school.
I had the song written about that version of myself from back then.
“The face that laughed, saying ‘I’ll go pro'”
“I know you were serious”
This line in the lyrics feels like words directed at my younger self.
Before I knew it, it was released two days later.
Once the song is done, the next step is distribution.
For distribution, I use a service called TuneCore.
It’s a service that lets you get your songs on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
Looking back now, the release date for “Kick Off” was August 19th.
Since I started using Sora on August 17th, my song was already out in the world just two days later.
There wasn’t anything particularly difficult about the process. I just followed what Sora told me to do.
My wife’s reaction when she saw this:
𸠓What on earth is going on? I’m so surprised.”
Even though she was the one taking the course, I was the one watching from the sidelines, and I had my song released just two days later.
No wonder she was surprised.
What I want to tell everyone in their 50s
You don’t need to know which AI is best at first.
I didn’t have a clue either.
Just try out a free trial and play around with it.
You can just pick the one that feels right to you.
That alone can lead to your song being released to the world just two days later.
